Top Antivirus

Pls vote and give some comment about the pros and cons of the softwares.

for windows, i have been using avg. the best part of it is that i dun need to spend even a cent on it legally. it performs its duty, lighter that the rest. it is not a resource hogger.

What about paid version? Anyone using paid version? Btw avg is as good as its free, but i wont prefer that as its virus detection is lower compared to the others.

well. i would not like those anti-virus that are too strong. one of the set back of those "more secure" anti virus is that it uses more resource and thus decreasing the cache and ram for ur comp. anyway to be kena virus is nothing, after all i reformat comp every 2 or 3 months.

No comment abt dat...anyone dat's good on 'top 10 reviews' and doesnt take much space on both hard disk and ram will be my choice.

I use NOD32 actually(crack version that is)....
Its very good...it can scan out most virus and worms in ur com that avg and norton(which suck) cant scan out...

hey, not encourage to discuss about crack. and of coz you dun tell the world you use illegal software so that the corporation can sue you.

juz switch to symantec's endpoint protection. Duno whether good usage, anyone uses it??

well, school is using symantec endpoint (if i am not mistaken). anyway my comp rarely kena virus, so i juz stick to a lightest resourcer kind that is AVG

switched back to zonealarm coz endpoint reli makes my comp go lagging...

endpoint lag coz it have many extras features that hog the memory.

Still...i like NOD32...they say alot of other anti-v company hire hackers to steal their anti-v ways....

its full version is very expensive...but is proven to block 99% virus known....

AVG nice...every time open computer automatic will scan...and oso auto update

Im only using Ad-aware last time and it only pro at scanning spyware i think..cant even scan trojan...
but when I use AVG,i scanned that my com's wolfteam game that patch also got 4 trojan there

I have use many antivirus before..now I no use any antivirus,just have firewall.*Just don't enter an unknown publisher website.
