We'll have to wait for future technology to invade Malaysia's broadband market. And until TM-Net Streamyx's market monopoly status is abolished, they'll most likely be NO improvement.
Datuk Seri Lim Keng Yaik (Minister of Energy, Water and Telecommunications) is trying to introduce a high speed wireless broadband service to Malaysia, it should start operating within a year or 2. Just bear with Streamyx for the time being.

Streamyx ****.
I heard maxis brordband is much better. Anyone tried it? To me, streamyx is not a broadband. It is so slow, even when u pay Rm88 for a package. I am waiting for wimax too. Hopefully it is fast. I mean FAST.

Re: Streamyx problems
well? we both are using streamyx, we both have the same ISP, wat you mean there is a flaw in an ISP when both uses the same? btw, i dun thiink you understand what is ISP.
if you ever use boardband in singapore, you will consider streamyx RM88 package as 56k dial-up.
