Sejarah Yes or No

Honestly i know most of us dislike history, but do you really think history is important?
(Don't be influenced by the boring syllabus)

I think it is important to know where we came from and where our roots are...
Without history, I dun think it's possible for us to be grateful to our ancestors.
And then what will we be...a bunch of jerks for sure.

So do you appreciate history in terms of academic?

yes, i agree to jeremyteng, but so far in my life (in school) i only studied malaysian and some religion (you know what i mean) histories...i juz hope they can change it and let us study more of the world's history, at least a balance...not juz malaysia pro, dunia tak tau

Thats the boring part (all malaysia history). If have more account on the World wars i might be interested

Examination is no sweat, but the points of learning. If you are interested examinations is nothing la. Doesnt WW history better than malayan union or mat salleh? at least in a bigger scale

Like what jeremyteng said and sejarah is defined as salasilah, riwayat and some more which i cant remember. So, history is about yourself in general.

world history better. For now, malaysian history often bores me.

hmm...i wanna learn more of the world history...plus..i prefer to learn it in english...hehe..

is just for our basic knowledge sure i'll lov it..
but for exam..i definitely hate it!!!!!

me too....i prefer history to be a general knowledge, not exam orientated.

Agree. History in english is much better than in bm, coz most of the terms we use is in english. About the world history, there are some brief account in our syllabus too.

haha...seems like english is reigning especially..when it comes to history, it should be in english so that students could exchange info with other historians easily.

If our syllabus remain malaysia history, then hard to implement english in history la. All about malays then suddenly english come in (english is somehow related to traitor in the old days, everyone that studies history should get what i mean)

okay...yea..then why are we learning science and maths in english? while history still in malay? life isn't fair afterall

Maybe they arent pro in english so they dun wan implement bi in history / they think we are not so good in english (no basic english)

anyway we must learn history by ourself...i mean learn world history..besides learning local history in school

if they want to translate it to BI, many terms will go wrong...
besides, i love history when it goes to islam part, it's way to easy to memorize all that "islam" thing
